Mujhe sabak mila zindagi mein kabhi hawa mein nahin urhna chahiye: Roman Raees

Lahore: Islamabad United's fast bowler Roman Raees says that good and bad times come in life, one has to accept it. I have learned a lesson that I should never fly too high in life and always remain humble.

Islamabad United's fast bowler Roman Raees, speaking to Geo News, said that he has a family relationship with Islamabad United. He started the journey as an emerging player from the first season, saw both good and bad times. In season 3, he got injured, which was a setback for my career, but the franchise supported me through thick and thin.

When asked a question, Roman Raees said that it is inevitable not to feel disappointed; sometimes I also think that the injury pushed me out. Good and bad times come in life, one has to accept it. I have learned a lesson that I should never fly too high in life and always remain humble.

Roman Raees spoke about Islamabad United's performance, saying that our team is the best in the current season. Unfortunately, we couldn't bring consistency in performance. It's a good thing that mistakes have been identified at the start of the event. We will work on those mistakes to form a good combination to win the trophy.

He said that Pakistan has the capability to represent Pakistan in the fast bowlers of Under 19. Both Ubaid Shah and Haneen Shah are qualified. The better they balance themselves, the better it is. Zeeshan and Ali Raza are also good bowlers. Ali Raza has performed extraordinarily in domestic cricket. A bowler becomes a bowler when he bowls long. If the franchise has taken you in the emerging category, it does not mean that you have become a bowler. Understanding bowling comes from playing from day one.

He advised the upcoming bowlers that French cricket has become too much. The process of making money has also increased. The foundation of cricket is one-day and T20 cricket. We should not leave them. If we play big cricket, we will become big bowlers.
